Tickets in restaurants in Argentina tend to go viral quickly on social networks due to the high prices. However, on this occasion, An Argentine took a photo of a ticket he received at a restaurant in Uruguay and it went viral.
The Twitter account @elbrujodegalileo published the invoice they received when requesting the account. The amount was expressed in dollars, euros and reais, but the figure in Argentine pesos was not clear and this generated a shower of reactions on Twitter.

What happened was that those in charge of collecting were not clear at what value to convert the Uruguayan peso, due to the innumerable exchange rates that our country maintains. Instead of choosing the official quote, blue or some other, they chose to write “$A infinity”.
The user took it as a mockery of the constant depreciation of the Argentine peso against the dollar. Thus, he accompanied the publication on Twitter with this message: “They kill us laughing!”

Another tweeter – who agreed with that theory – said: “(It is an) old software, low resolution /precision in decimals. nothing more than that“. And he added: “To bully us, we are already alone.”
The debate took place in a context in which the Argentine economy adds more and more prices with respect to foreign currencies. Between “Qatar” dollar, “soybean” dollar, “blue” and others, the Central Bank implemented almost 20 different exchange rates.
