The wait is over. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, sequel to Modern Warfare II, is more than a reality. We recently saw a rather mysterious teaser and a trailer dedicated to Vladimir Makarov, one of the most fearsome villains in the saga who returns for this installment. Alongside this latest reveal, August 17 (today) was marked for a new performance and special event at Warzone 2.0.
The presentation is divided into two parts: the trailer-gameplay focused on the campaign (which you can see above) and the special event of Warzone 2.0. The trailer shows a lot of interesting scenes that make us think once again about the return of Death in the Air and The Gulag. We also see the Wounded Captain Price and… The return of Nada de Ruso is confirmed in what appears to be the plane!
On the other hand, the Warzone 2.0 event is called Shadow Siege either Shadow’s Siege. He has started with a cinematic in which General Shepard sends us to secure key points led by Commander Graves.
After the Campaign, Task Force 141 tracks Hadir, Farah’s brother and Al Qatala commander, below Urzikstan in a Soviet bunker. Hadir warns Konni’s Task Force 141 at his dying breath as almost all of them head back to HQ while Alex regroups with Farah.
It is a mission related to the history of Modern Warfare II and Modern Warfare III, it takes place in a DMZ (cooperative) style mode, it has four phases or missions that we must complete successfully and that has the following rewards.
- Phase 1: Secure the eight missile launchers to destroy the observatory.
- Phase 2: invade the hidden bunker under the observatory.
- Phase 3: Collect 45 gas canisters from the underground bunker.
- phase 4: Go to the extraction zone with all the collected boats. Each player must bring their own one by one.
- rewards: M13C Assault Rifle (New Weapon), Serpent Slayer Vehicle Skin, Konni Group Emblem, Crimson Sound Card, Gas Canister Talisman, and 1 Tier Skip in the Battle Pass.
