MIAMI, Florida – This Sunday Tropical Storm Emily formed in the Atlantic with maximum sustained winds of 50 miles per hour.
According to the 11:00 am bulletin this Sunday from the National Hurricane Center, the storm was located 1,000 miles west-northwest of the Cape Verde Islands, and was carrying maximum sustained winds of 50 mph, at a speed of 10 mph.
At the moment there are no warnings or coastal surveillance.
The movement is expected to continue for the next few days.
Emily is likely to become a post-tropical remnant low by Tuesday.
