The investigation into the discovery of the body of a dead and burned man next to the train tracks, in Garupá, presented a twist today after the preliminary results of the autopsy were known. It is that although the hypothesis about a natural death and the possibility that it is a person reported missing at the beginning of the month were ruled out after the report from the Forensic Medical Corps. As El Territorio was able to find out based on different sources consulted, the corpse had different fractures in the head, thorax and arm. This indicates that it was a violent death.

Given this, the authorities of the Sixth Investigating Court are investigating the event as a homicide or an accident, since it cannot be ruled out that the man fell from the rock next to where he was found. In any case, judicial investigators had mentioned that the body had flip flops on when it was found, which drew attention. They believe that he tripped or fell, the shoe would have separated from the body. On the other hand, progress had also been made on the possibility that the dead person was a person who had disappeared since the beginning of the month, whose family approached the scene and gave characteristics.

They had also reported that this person had a distinctive tattoo, which was not found by the doctors who performed the necropsy. This means that the victim has not yet been identified, so the mystery is even bigger.
As this medium reported yesterday, the incident was discovered around 8:30 on Tuesday on a dirt street parallel to the train tracks in the Villa Longa Norte neighborhood of the town.

The scene is about 500 meters from the south access roundabout, near the place where Pablo Torrilla Diel (27) was found dead in May 2018, who, according to the judicial investigation, committed suicide while on patrol.
At the crime scene were members of the Fifth Police Station, different units of Regional Unit X and authorities from the Court and the Sixth Investigation Prosecutor’s Office of Posadas.

The person was lying on a dry ditch next to a stone rock. At the scene of the crime in the first instance, the police doctor did not detect visible signs of aggression and pointed out that the fire had reached him superficially, burning part of his body.

In this way, what was traced at that moment is that the fire reached him after his death, something that is also now in doubt. Could someone have tried to dispose of the body? The flames caused part of his skin to contract, which explains why no injuries were detected in that first inspection. Given this scenario, Judge Ricardo Balor ordered that the body be sent to the Judicial Morgue to carry out the corresponding autopsy, which he contributed caused the investigation to take an unexpected turn.
