Guadalajara.- The passengers of a Mazda CX3 truck were squeezed between two tractor-trailers on the Guadalajara to Colima highway, two of them died and one more was injured.

The survivor was helped by highway users, who opened the car with what they had on hand and called the authorities.

The accident occurred around 5:41 p.m., at kilometer 119+ 500, in Tuxpan.

Municipal police and firefighters, as well as the Jalisco State Civil Protection and Fire Unit (UEPCBJ), attended the area known as Puente El Beltrán.

They found the 2017 model vehicle, with Jalisco license plates, pressed between two tractor-trailers.

A woman had been pulled from it.

“A 25-year-old woman was injured and was transferred to a hospital in Ciudad Guzmán for further care,” reported the First Commander of the UEPCBJ, Hugo Samuel Flores Hermosillo.

Inside the vehicle were the bodies of two other women, approximately 24 years old, which were recovered at 9:40 p.m.

It was not disclosed how the accident occurred.
