Juarez City.- In the absence of a formal complaint against them for the crime of attempted robbery, the two Venezuelans detained by members of the municipal police were released on Saturday night under reservation of law, the District Attorney for the North Zone reported.

“Gregori Alexander AF and Freddy Rafael LO, 29 and 23 years old, respectively, both of Venezuelan origin, were released under reservation, after 48 hours had elapsed for the investigation in relation to their probable participation in the crime of attempted robbery. ”, announced the agency yesterday afternoon.

This instance did not receive complaints against them for the aforementioned crime, nor for any other, reason for which they obtained their freedom, it was announced.

The Prosecutor’s Office reported that the Robbery Unit with a Known Defendant will continue with the investigations, both of the robbery suffered by the victim, and of the injuries presented by Gregori Alexander AF

The latter was injured by a firearm projectile, for which he remains hospitalized, however, once he is discharged, he will be able to leave the hospital without any problem, it was announced.

As reported by the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM), the person was reportedly shot between Vicente Guerrero and Francisco Villa avenues.
