Mexico City.- Passengers who were traveling this morning on Line 3 of the Mexico City Metro (CDMX), shared videos on social networks showing the moments of terror they experienced after the accident.

In the videos of the crash, users of the Metro are observed with bewilderment because they are unaware of what caused the sudden brake and a loud noise.

“It exploded, who knows, who knows what happened to the others there,” a victim who recorded the moments after the collision can be heard saying.

In the barely 21-second clip, passengers are observed calming each other down and illuminating the wagons with the light from their mobile devices.

Another of the recordings shows how the Metro users were trapped in a tunnel, without lighting and waiting for the rescue team.

In one of the most dramatic videos, a person is shown lying on the floor of the Metro, while other passengers await instructions.

“Terror in the Mexico City Metro” was how the user Raúl Gutiérrez titled the video he shared on Twitter.

In another of the recordings, a man is heard warning them not to get out of the unit until it is safe, while recording the damage caused by the impact.

A clip shows the moment in which a passenger organizes the others to descend in order from the car. Seconds later they are seen walking in the tunnels in complete darkness.

“Don’t step on the bar in the middle,” warns the person.
