A customer discovered her dead on her property in an outbuilding that she used as a salon. The crime happened the day before Christmas Eve, according to the police probably between 12.00 and 12.30 p.m. The woman’s grandson was taken into custody on suspicion of having committed a crime.

The police were able to stop the woman’s grandson, a 37-year-old German, in his car on Bundesstraße 1 near Vogelsdorf. The man then tried to violently snatch the service weapon from a police officer.
