Blocking a person on WhatsApp is the measure that ensures that you will no longer receive messages from that number. The function prevents the contact from seeing your profile details, sending messages or making calls.
When opening the private conversation between the two, the application informs you that the account is blocked and does not have access to your profile information. However, if you are in the same group, the person will still be able to see the content sent by you in that specific chat.
