Investors are up against the project

Grégoire came to present his project concerning “the pet of tomorrow”, a small bird called the padda. This tamed bird has the particularity of being able to live freely in an apartment, because the will of the entrepreneur is to open the cage of the birds. He came to offer 250,000 euros for 7% of his business. Its objective is to set up padda breeding farms all over France and Europe. Investors were not convinced by the philosophical approach of the breeder, who wants to domesticate wild birds and put them in open cages. “It’s not the point of the story to take wild animals and bring them to our house”, regretted Marc Simoncini. This counter-current project did not appeal to investors, who also considered the requested valuation too high. The entrepreneur therefore left without financing.
