Three years after the crime, and in the run-up to the tributes to remember Fernando Baéz Sosa, the lawyer Fernando Burlando launched strong questions against the rugbiers and their families.

After the last hearing of the trial for the death of Fernando Báez Sosa, Burlando spoke to the press present in Dolores.

On the one hand, he highlighted the task of the prosecution in obtaining Blas Cinalli’s confession about his participation in the crime and questioned the defense experts who testified.

“Blas Cinalli stood at the scene centimeters from Fernando, in what he calls a fight, although it was not.” And he added: “Eight people who hit one are cowards, Cinalli you are a coward, I did not rate you, I only described what you did.”

As for the statements of the experts, he said: “they came as Favaloro and left as Fixed Gear, they were stunned. They didn’t know what to answer anymore.”

Lastly, he launched a harsh criticism of the defendants: “I have no doubt that if these people are on the street, they kill again. Their manner of gestures, this emotional illiteracy that they show is worrying”.
