After playing Wolverine many times in the X-Men franchise, Hugh Jackman will resume his role in Deadpool 3. Many believe that the actor took steroids for his successive physical transformations. But the actor insists that he only built muscle in the rules of the art by consuming a lot of protein.
Hugh Jackman will play Wolverine for the umpteenth time in Deadpool 3 which is scheduled for release on November 6, 2024. And as usual, the actor will have to push some cast iron to obtain the well-drawn musculature inherent in his role as Logan. On the set of “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace”, the actor was subjected for the umpteenth time to a question that torments the minds of fans. Many of them wonder if he used steroids to build so much muscle.

Hugh Jackman says he didn’t give in to doping
The actor, however, denies having doped and specifies that he simply had to work hard in training while respecting a strict diet rich in protein:
“I was told once what the side effects were. And I said, ‘I don’t like it’. So no, I built muscle the old-fashioned way. And I’ll tell you, I ate more chicken…I apologize to vegetarians, vegans, and all the chickens in the world. Karma is clearly not on my side. If God has anything to do with chickens, I’m in trouble”.
A firm answer tinged with humor which has the merit of being clear. Also during the show, the actor specified that he would have six months of respite from next March before shooting his scenes of Deadpool 3. A period that he will devote to his muscle gain. “I will be with the family and I will train. This will be my job for six months”underlines the actor.
Moreover, Hugh Jackman has already begun his vigorous training for Deadpool 3 as evidenced by several photographs posted on his Instagram account. As a reminder, Deadpool 3 will be directed by Shawn Levy. The team of screenwriters (Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Wendy Molyneux, Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin) was assisted by Ryan Reynolds, the interpreter of the title role.
