Xbox is rolling out a new search to its consoles (but for some members)

Xbox updates resume in February, and Microsoft has just released version 2303.230209-2200 with a new search bar. Please note that this new feature is currently only available for Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead ranks of the Xbox Insider program: how to register and get Xbox updates in advance.

An expanded search for more content

Over the years, the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles have constantly reviewed their interface and in particular the part devoted to research. This is precisely the subject of update 2303.230209-2200 of the month of February which is dedicated to this and enhances the search bar with a brand new feature.

Check out a refresh of the console research page! This includes a sleek new color profile, gallery-style results, navigable visible filter categories with RB/LB, the ability to “search YouTube” in the Movies & TV tab, and more.

Your consoles will therefore soon be able to offer you an extended search, including content available on the YouTube application or videos that can be found on the Microsoft Store. Currently, only Xbox Insiders at the Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead ranks benefit from these new features, which are expected to arrive later, for everyone.
