Like every week, Microsoft is making new free games available for a limited time to all Xbox Game Pass and Gold subscribers.
It’s become a routine now, every week, for a long weekend, Xbox Series and Xbox One players who have subscribed to one of the Xbox Game Pass or Xbox Live Gold subscriptions offered by Microsoft, can enjoy some games for free. More than a demo, it’s a real trial period that is offered since the games of these Free Play Days are playable from A to Z without any limit!
Two new games to try for free on Xbox Series
Last week was co-op FPS Payday 2 and the indie fighting game Them’s Fightin’ Herds which were playable for free during a big weekend. This week, we completely change style with two new titles. An asynchronous multiplayer game (4v1), Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed and above all, an excellent indie roguelite, Roguebook.
These games will be available in the Free Play Days section of your Xbox Live menu on PC and consoles on the April 20 to 23, 2023 in the evening.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, multiplayer ghost hunt
The Ghostbusters license tries here asynchronous multiplayer like Dead by Daylight. Four ghost hunters must cooperate together to face another player controlling a poltergeist. The game offers a widely accessible gameplay and an immediate grip. The focus is above all on fun and each match then feels like a hilarious game of ghostly hide-and-seek. Moreover, the most hardcore fans of the franchise will be able to find a whole bunch of nods to the universe.
Roguebook, an indie nugget to test absolutely on Xbox Series
Roguebook is a colorful and particularly atypical roguelite. You will have to explore a vast universe, in the form of a board, and often make crucial decisions that can impact your game in many ways. The fights are a mixture of classic turn-based and deck builder. There are so many cards to collect that allow you to build a ton of different tactics. The game hides many other secrets that we will let you discover for yourself. Be careful however, Roguebook is the kind of game that can swallow up your hours of sleep without you even realizing it.
