2nd edition of Caracas Design Week confirmed

CARACAS.- The capital of Venezuela prepares to receive the second edition of the Caracas Design Week, an event that will present a variety of high-quality proposals in the areas of architecture, design -in its broad expression-, furniture, decoration, fashion, gastronomy, among others.

“After having successfully completed the first edition, the month of June has once again been chosen to address and explore design and architecture from multiple perspectives, giving the people of Caracas the opportunity to access a wide and varied agenda of cultural activities, academic, gastronomic and urban to satisfy all types of audiences,” the organizing team said in a statement.

Expansion of the Caracas Desing Week

For this second edition, the event will grow towards the Chacao Municipality, maintaining the presence in the Baruta Municipality -as happened in the first installment-.

“Iconic and innovative brands, both national and international, will be presented at the Caracas Design Week, with the aim of making the public aware of the available product lines, the latest trends and stimulating the revaluation of the market and local consumption,” detailed the team, who invited institutions, organizations and companies to join and participate in this second edition and thus promote a model of a close, friendly, safe and civic city.

Organized by Eletres Proyectos, with the support of the Mayors of Baruta and Chacao, and the international platform World Design Weeks, the new edition will take place from June 1 to 8.
