Personnel from the Alba Posse police station denounced the head of the unit for workplace violence, before which the Department of Intra-institutional Attention of the Misiones Police Headquarters intervened.
The case is being processed in the internal administrative sphere, since up to now no criminal complaint has been filed.
As confirmed by El Territorio with official sources, there are four officers – male and female – who questioned the behavior of the head of the Alba Posse police station, chief officer José Luis K.
“The claim of the personnel goes through an excessive rigor in the work. They argue that they cannot adapt to the requirements and that the boss commits workplace violence. A statement was taken from them and they ratified their statements,” they specified.
They also added that in addition to the four cited, six other members of the same agency provided testimony and contradicted the version of their comrades.
At this point, a spokesperson indicated that “contrary to the complainants, other officials thought that the boss is very correct and that the problem lies in the fact that the others do not adapt to the work routine.”
In this context, superiority ordered the transfer of all those involved -complainants and boss- to other units. In principle, they would serve in the area of the same jurisdiction so as not to affect their family routine.
Nor was any administrative sanction ordered, at least while the internal investigation is being conducted.
On the other hand, unofficial sources from the same force indicated that beyond the reported workplace violence, there would also be claims for alleged sexual harassment, a situation that would not be alien to the UR XI leadership itself, which would be the subject of an investigation by Internal Affairs.
