There was an accident at the Hubertweiche/Joachimstrasse intersection on Monday afternoon (April 17). The fire brigade moved to Essen-Kray.

Accident in Essen-Kray: Two cars collided at the Hubertweiche/Joachimstraße intersection on Monday afternoon (April 17). According to the fire department, the airbags in both cars were deployed during the collision. “Apparently five people were slightly injured,” said the control center on request.

The emergency services were alerted at 4:08 p.m. The fire brigade then moved to the scene of the accident with an ambulance, three ambulances and a fire engine. The latter drove to Kray because operating materials – i.e. oil and petrol – had spilled onto the road during the accident and had to be removed.

Hubertweiche/Joachimstraße in Essen-Kray was closed

Witnesses report that a driving school vehicle (VW E-Auto ID.3) and a VW Scirocco collided. When asked why the collision had occurred, the police were not yet able to say in the late afternoon; Details of the accident were not yet known.






The Hubertweiche/Joachimstraße intersection had to be temporarily closed due to the accident. (yup)
