At least three dead and three wounded in a shooting in the state of Maryland, USA.

At least three people have died and others three have received gunshot wounds this Sunday in a shooting that took place in the American city of Annapolisin the state of Maryland (United States).

Local authorities have indicated that the shooting took place at 8:00 p.m. (local time) in a private residence in which a graduation partyaccording to preliminary investigation.

All the victims are menwhose ages range from 20 and 50 years. The suspect is in custody, although at the moment no charges have been filed, according to what the Police have indicated, as reported by the NBC television network.

The mayor of the city, Gavin Buckleystated that “tonight has once again been an example of senseless violence«: »People trying to solve problems with weapons, it is the most ridiculous thing we can do as a society«.

“We are sad for the families. Nothing is solved with the use of a weapon“, Buckley declared this Sunday during a press conference.

Police are investigating to determine the motive for the shooting.
