"Barbie" close to surpassing 1,000 million dollars internationally

“Barbie,” which Gerwig directed and co-wrote, added another $53 million from 4,178 theaters in the United States and Canada this weekend, according to studio estimates released Sunday. The film starring and produced by Margot Robbie has been at the top of the box office for three weeks and is unlikely to leave.
