After five successful ski races, more than 140 young racers aged between 8 and 19 were honored for their sporting achievements in the presence of their families in the St. Gallenkirch community hall.
At the award ceremony, organized by WSV St. Gallenkirch and moderated by Thomas Amann, chairman of the Montafon Ski Club, Mayor Josef Lechthaler and State Parliament Vice President Monika Vonier took the opportunity to present the coveted trophies and medals in person. In their words of welcome, they thanked the children for their motivated participation in the cup, the parents, who support their offspring with advice and action, and the numerous honorary officials and trainers of all Montafon local clubs and the Montafon Ski Club for their valuable commitment. Special thanks go to the main sponsors, the company WILU and the company MBS, for the longstanding partnership in this valley-wide competition.
After the crowning conclusion of the winter season, various activities such as excursions, floor cleaning, etc. are on the program during the “summer break”. In autumn, the young athletes then start dry training.
