Fabian Reese apparently only wanted to switch to Hertha BSC. As the ‘Bild’ reports, the 25-year-old turned down offers from eight other clubs before giving Hertha his final yes-word. It is said to have been Reese’s former club Schalke 04, FC Augsburg and 1. FC Köln. VfL Wolfsburg also expressed interest in the right foot.

In addition to the Bundesliga clubs, there were also options abroad for the fast attacker. According to the tabloid, US Cremonese and US Lecce wanted to guide Reese to Italy, while the two Prague clubs Sparta and Slavia also tried their luck.
