VfL Bochum wants to prepare for the relegation battle with an old acquaintance from the Bundesliga. As the Greek news portal ‘sportdog.gr’ reports, everything indicates that Pierre Kunde will be arriving at Castroper Strasse in the coming days.
The negotiations with Olympiacos Piraeus about the transfer are therefore in the final stages. The 27-year-old midfielder is no longer in demand at the top Greek club. Kunde has not played in the league since September. After all, he was able to collect a few minutes of play with Cameroon at the World Cup in Qatar.
It is not known how much the transfer fee will be for the former Mainz player. But the price for the customer should be manageable. In 2021 Piraeus had put 1.8 million euros on the table, his contract expires in 2024. With the midfield engine, Bochum will receive the urgently needed reinforcement for the headquarters.
