On date 1 of Panama – Apertura 2023, CAI added three with the resounding 4-0 victory against UMECIT FC. Víctor Ávila (44′ 1T, penalty), Rafael Aguila (16′ 2T), Ángel Sánchez (26′ 2T) and Gilberto Hernández (28′ 2T) were the authors of the overwhelming victory of the local team.
Rafael Aguila had a great performance. The CAI midfielder scored 1 goal.
Another player who had a great game was Ángel Sánchez. The CAI attacker shone by scoring 1 goal.
The match had several cautioned: Samuel Jiménez, Sergio Ramírez, Carlos Small and Darwin Pinzón. He was sent off for a direct red card, Gilberto Hernández in the 85th minute of the second half.
