A fight between two Cuban truck drivers in a Miami parking lot ended with one stabbed and the other wounded by a gunshot.
The incident occurred on April 16 around 1:30 pm in a truck yard located at 8720 Northwest 91st Street.
One of the opponents, identified as Rafael Antonio Guevarais detained and appeared in court this week, accused of attempted second degree murder with a deadly weapon and unlawful discharge of a firearm in a public place or residential property.
The other, called John Pine Crossis still found admitted with a gunshot wound to the face.
A report of America TeVe He relates that Pino stabbed Guevara, who, in retaliation, went to his truck to get his gun, returned to where the other man was and shot him in the face.

A few minutes later, both had a “violent altercation” in which the former stabbed Guevara several times. He walked towards his vehicle, grabbed a gun, ran back to the door and stopped “adopting a shooting stance” with the gun in his hand in the direction of Pino Cruz’s truck, which was leaving the scene.
Authorities believe he fired two shots.
Upon arriving at the scene, the Police found Yoan Pino Cruz on the ground near his truck and bleeding from a gunshot wound to the face. He was transported to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, where he remains admitted.
Guevara, for his part, had multiple stab wounds to the abdomen and was flown by helicopter to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center to undergo open heart surgery.
Almost 20 days later, he was still held without bail at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
According to detectives on the case, there is “probable cause to determine that the defendant intentionally committed an overt act that could have resulted in the victim’s death.”
Police have not completed the investigation and are seeking information about the relationship between the two men and the cause of the altercation.
