Thousands of residents who spend the summer in the city enjoy the artistic, recreational and sports proposals offered by the Municipality in the four locations of the Workshop School. As reported by the Commune, the activities began the first week of January and will continue throughout the seasonwith 40 initiatives distributed in different areas of the city.

“Through the various courses that we offer every year, residents who spend the summer in the city have the opportunity to entertain themselves, share and learn from qualified teachers”highlighted the Secretary of Culture and Education, Martiniano Ferrer Picado.

THE PLACES

  • At the Julio López Cultural Center located at 64 and 137, folkloric dance workshops, guitar, bass, piano, English, thematic make-up, painting and poetry.

  • At the Los Hornos Cultural and Sports Center located at 66 between 152 and 153 there are courses in art, yoga, folkloric dances, English, musical ensemble, guitar, bass and reading.

  • The classes that take place at the Pasaje Dardo Rocha Cultural Center of 50 between 6 and 7 they range from learning different instruments and dance styles, to English, writing, photography, ceramics and other proposals.

It is worth mentioning that there are still vacancies to participate in some of the activities. Those interested should contact the Municipal Ministry of Culture and Education by calling 427-1849 or entering www.cultura.laplata.gob.ar.
