Death Stranding reportedly hinted at a release window along with another big PS5 exclusion
Death Stranding 2, Hideo Kojima’s future hit, was approached at the last Game Awards with an enticing and intriguing trailer. The hype is real and many fans are waiting for only one thing, a release date. That’s good because an artist currently working on the game has made a dumpling.
A release window for Death Stranding 2
Character Designer Frank Alberti has indeed updated his profile ArtStation by displaying the projects he is currently working on. And the latter must obviously not have been aware that death stranding 2 had not yet given us a release date, or even a window since he himself shared it. According to the profile of the artist therefore, death stranding 2 would be expected for 2024, i.e. 5 years after the first episode. Hardly surprising considering the game is currently in development and it was inconceivable to see it appear in 2023. And apparently the release window can’t be bad as Frank Alberti quickly corrected his mistake by removing any mention of it. death stranding 2.
Another big PS5 exclusive for 2024?
At the same time, the man also shared the release window of another PS5-exclusive game, the popular multiplayer FPS from Firewalk Studios. The studio should therefore publish its very first game in 2024 as well if we are to believe Alberti’s profile sheet. As a reminder, Firewalk Studio had signed a partnership in 2021 with PlayStation to create its very first game. At the moment, we know absolutely nothing about the project except that it will be a big FPS AAA oriented multiplayer and game service .
If 2023 already promises to be loaded with game releases and will get off to a flying start in January, 2024 is obviously looking very promising in turn. It remains to be seen if all this will be formalized in the coming months.
