The 8th stage of this 106th edition of the Tour of Italy starts on Saturday from Terni towards Fossombrone and offers a rugged course of 207 kilometers.
The day after Davide Bais’ issue (EOLO-Kometa), remaining at the front for more than 200 kilometers before lifting their arms at the top of the Gran Sasso d’Italia, the peloton should experience a slightly quieter day on Saturday May 13 for the 8th stage. But beware, the end of the course could reserve some torments for the less attentive… In any case, the punchers are expected! Between Terni and Fossombrone (207 km), the first part of more than 150 kilometers should not prove to be the most exciting, allowing runners to keep their strength up.
On the other hand, the final loop could blow everything up.
