Eve Systems, a provider of smart home devices, is announcing the first Matter-enabled and certified products in the Eve family, the models, at CES 2023, which officially starts tomorrow Eve Door & Window, Eve Energy and Eve Motion.
The devices will be among the first in the world to offer the benefits of Matter technology, such as plug-and-play interoperability and platform independence without having to be updated via an over-the-air firmware update.
Thanks to Matter, the three devices will work on all four major smart home platforms, i.e. Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings. The Matter-certified models from Eve Door & Window, Eve Energy and Eve Motion will be available from March 28 on Evehome.com, Amazon and Apple with prices starting at €39.95.

Eve MotionBlinds motor variants for honeycomb blinds and blinds
Eve MotionBlinds for Honeycomb extends the range of bespoke shading solutions offered through a network of Coulisse partners. This engine is the basis for multifunctional honeycomb pleated sun protection, which thanks to its structure has acoustic and thermal insulation properties. Eve MotionBlinds for Venetian can open and close wooden and special aluminum blinds and adjust the slats horizontally or vertically depending on the desired level of light, shade and privacy.
As part of the over-the-air firmware updates, Eve plans to release an update to support Matter for all Eve MotionBlinds products by the end of Q1. With Eve MotionBlinds for Roller Blinds, published in cooperation with Coulisse at CES 2022, a first motor variant has already successfully completed certification.
