The team that has moved up two divisions in the same number of seasons is predicted to have a difficult season. Nevertheless, the team has proven capable of making giant strides from season to season. Maybe there is a renewed contract among Norway’s elite?

Gamer.no caught up with Infurity’s captain, Emil “sirius” Standall, to hear about the season’s goals and how they think the spring season will go. The team has moved up the previous two seasons, but the success will no doubt be difficult to continue.
– We have made two straight promotions without training and even though the goal was to get some training in before this season, it has proven to be difficult. Without some form of practice, it becomes difficult to expect so much from ourselves, Standal tells Gamer.no
It is quite possible that the team captain has taken a lesson from Ole Kristian “Marcelious” Langan from Skade X, who announced the following ahead of the autumn’s play-offs that they thought they were going to run over everyone anyway. It’s clear that Infurity isn’t putting any unnecessary pressure on itself and is running its own race.
Think Apeks Rebels is still the best
Infurity has also brought in Danish Lucas “Lukki” Pilheden.

Apeks Rebels walked away with the victory in the last season of the Telialigaen after a thriller final over Wizard. Unlike most other teams, Apeks Rebels’ lineup remains unchanged. The young players have become a little older, and probably a little sharper with coach Torbjørn “mithR” Nyborg behind them.
Infurity puts the rebels in Apeks as favorites in the league, but also mentions 777 as a contender.
– We think Apeks Rebels will take the victory once again. They have a higher amount of tactical quality in and around the club which will be crucial for a long season, but we believe that 777 have the highest level of excellence.
When asked which player from another team is going to take a step forward, it is the great talent Sindre “Tapewaare” Ellefsen from Apeks Rebels who is mentioned. Ellefsen was overshadowed in the autumn final by teammate Tobias “berzerk” Bertelsen, but Standal believes Ellefsen will have his real breakthrough this season.
Ahead of the play-offs, Ellefsen also received compliments from the e-sports manager at Gamer.no, Jimmy Johansen, who said the following about Ellefsen:
– There are several sluggers from those teams who are in the discussion, but watch out for Sindre “Tapewaare” Ellefsen. There, Apeks Rebels has a fierce joker with a ridiculously good talent.
Looking forward to meeting the big teams
Infurity must be able to maintain the level in the top division if they are to be able to acquire rivals in the coming seasons. Nevertheless, they are clear about who they are looking forward to meeting.
– We are looking forward to playing against teams that have full-time players we can hone in on, it would have been fun if we could cause some problems for these teams, concludes a somewhat more confident Standal.
With just over a week until the start of the series, we will have to wait to see if this year’s underdog will manage a David against Goliath when, among others, Metizport, 777 and Apeks Rebels are on the other side.
Why are we predicting Infurity in 8th place?
We think four teams are fighting for survival when the points are to be counted and at the bottom there is little that separates the teams. There is a solid performance at the bottom for two straight promotions, but the level is also raised afterwards.
We think Infurity will have a tough time when they return to the top division. The team has solid individual players, who have proven themselves in the past. If the team has the day, they can provide the occasional banana peel during the season. The editors therefore believe that Infurity ends up in 8th place.
