"It's huge": two brothers capture a python in Florida

Two brothers managed to capture a nearly 16-foot python in the Florida Everglades and it was all caught on video.

They are Jack and Brendan Cronin, 18 and 16 years old, shortly after finishing the popular Florida Python Challenge, whose last day was August 13 and whose purpose is to reduce the number of these invasive species in the region.

“While looking for pythons this week, Jack never thought he would jump on one’s head,” said Chris Cronin, who recorded the video and posted it online.

In the footage, one of the youths can be seen holding the python’s head as a group celebrates around him.

After the capture, the brothers posed with the huge snake in several photos.
