Denis Zakaria probably has no future at Juventus Turin. As the ‘London Evening Standard’ reports, the Bianconeri are keen to cash in on the central midfielder next summer. Zakaria is currently on loan to Chelsea. The Blues have a purchase option worth €28 million plus another five million in potential bonuses. Should Chelsea not take the option, Juve hopes for another buyer from England.
In the current season, the Swiss has only made four appearances in the Premier League. Most recently, Zakaria was out due to injury. In mid-December, the 26-year-old had not given up hope of remaining with the Blues. At that time Zakaria said: “I still have to improve a few things and show the coach what I can do. If I’m allowed to play, I have to show that I’m good. So far it hasn’t been enough, but I’m working hard.”
