Paris St. Germain obviously wants to extend with world champion Lionel Messi. As head coach Christophe Galtier announced at a press conference, the club bosses were already talking to the Argentine about their future together. “I know that there are talks and that the sporting management has exchanged views with Leo about the issue of extra time”said the French trainer.

Galtier does not know “how things are”but adds: “Leo seems happy in Paris to me”. Messi’s contract in Paris would expire after the season. Whether he will remain on the Seine beyond that is an open question. In addition to a return to FC Barcelona, there was repeated talk of a move to MLS club Inter Miami.
