Ciudad Juárez— The Cabildo approved this noon to help with the measures carried out by the Sanitary Jurisdiction II to prevent rickettsia disease.

The Municipality will collaborate with fumigation actions in patios and corrals, and park cleaning, among others, indicates the agreement presented by the Health Commission.

The coordinating councilor of the portfolio, Víctor Talamantes, said that it is urgent to implement these works, due to the increase in cases this year.

He mentioned that to date 12 people have died from this disease, and compared to last year mortality increased by 54 percent.

Rickettsia is a disease that is transmitted to humans by a tick bite.
