'Never missing': Texas boy was at home for the past 8 years

The Houston Police Department said Thursday that Rudy Farías “was never missing,” since the day after the report made in 2015, the young man returned home.

This was stated by the chief of the Houston Police Department, Troy Finner, who said that they received information from relatives, doctors and other specialists who indicated so.

Finner said that both Farias and his mother used fictitious names to report the alleged disappearance of the then 17-year-old boy who is now 25 years old. Finner assured that Farías even had contact with patrolmen on the street.

So far, the Harris County Prosecutor’s Office has not accepted charges against Farias or their mother for having given fictitious names, an act that is classified as a misdemeanor in the state of Texas. Likewise, HPD stated that during the statement that Farias gave to the investigators at no time was there any talk of sexual abuse by his mother, in contradiction to what the activist Quannel X said.

More terrifying details about the case came to light when, according to the activist, the mother forced “Rudy” to sleep in the same bed and assume adult roles, even making him play the role of her husband.

As for the questioning of “Rudy” with the authorities, the activist said that the young man remained completely silent, and it was not until his mother left the room that the young man told Quanell X, who was with a detective, everything. from the Houston Police Department (HPD).

Quanell X says he was shocked to learn that a search warrant had not been executed at the house. “Rudy” made it clear that he was always in that house. Quanell X believes that HPD seriously failed, as multiple calls about the youth were made to authorities with no follow-up.

With the police statements this Thursday, what the activist said in relation to this case is seriously questioned.
