Prince Harry’s visit to London didn’t last long. Immediately after the coronation of Charles III. the Duke of Sussex departed again.

Update from May 7, 10:02 am: Prince Harry’s (38) lightning visit to London lasted a mere 28 hours. Immediately after the coronation of his father King Charles III. (74) had Harry taken to Heathrow Airport, where he loudly Daily Mail at 3:45 p.m. (4:45 p.m. CEST) boarded a plane bound for Los Angeles. It landed at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in the early evening. How The Sun reported, Prince Harry was spotted leaving the airport grounds in a Range Rover around 7:30 p.m. local time (4:30 a.m. BST).

The drive from the airport to Montecito takes around 90 minutes – it can be assumed that the birthday boy Archie was allowed to stay up later on his big day in order to be able to celebrate his 4th birthday with dad Harry as well. “Harry was determined to be back in time to put Archie to bed”an insider points out Daily Mail. Mama Meghan Markle (41) is said to have organized a “small intimate celebration” for Archie during the day while Prince Harry attended the coronation. Meghan “stayed home to celebrate Archie’s birthday because she felt it would be inauthentic to do anything else. She wanted to minimize the drama,” the source said.

First report from May 5, 5:02 p.m.: London – The Coronation of King Charles III (74) on May 6th was a spectacle for the history books that his youngest son Prince Harry couldn’t miss either. After months of uncertainty as to whether the Duke of Sussex would attend the ceremony, he arrived in London the day before the big event and sat dutifully in Westminster Abbey. However, the visit to his old homeland did not last particularly long.

They were both invited on May 6th (Here all updates and information about the coronation of King Charles III. in the live ticker), but while her husband traveled to London, Meghan Markle decided to stay in California with her children Archie (3) and Lillibet (1). Since Archie celebrates his fourth birthday on May 6th, this decision should have been relatively easy and Harry doesn’t seem to want to miss these milestones in the life of his firstborn either.

How Page Six confirmed, Prince Harry left London immediately after the end of the coronation ceremony to be with his family in Montecito in time. His farewell was apparently quite sparse, as was his appearance at his father’s big day. Because the Duke of Sussex was only in the third row, wore a simple black suit and was covered in many shots by a large feather on Princess Anne’s (72) hat.

Although his visit to London may have helped to mend at least a little the damaged relationship with the rest of his family, however, after the coronation, Harry must choose between Charles III. and Meghan decide. Sources used: pagesix.com
