The capture of the 28-year-old woman took place on the morning of Thursday, February 16, 2023 in Bogotá, a place where the authorities had been following the trail of alias ‘Jasbleidy’ for some time.

That was how the uniformed officers detained her while she was walking through the streets of the capital. It was known that there was an arrest warrant in process, which is why, when verifying her identity, they detected that she was required by a judge.

A short time later, the National Police and the Bogota Secretariat announced the capture of one of the women most wanted by the authorities for drug trafficking who operated in the town of San Cristobal, in the country’s capital, known as ‘Jasbleidy’. But her fact fell short of the judge’s decision to release her a few hours later.

Colonel Hernán Gómez pointed out that:

“The capture of a female person was achieved, which was required by the authorities for the crime of drug trafficking in the town of San Cristóbal. It is important to mention that this female was related to the cartel of the most wanted for drug trafficking.

The police officers notified the woman of the capture order who was running against her and immediately afterwards they took her to the Immediate Reaction Unit of the town of Tunjuelito. Subsequently, they carried out the protocol acts, presented it to a prosecutor and after reviewing the documents, the legalization of the capture was requested to present it before a guarantee control judge.

However, the woman was released after, at the first hearing, the defense of alias ‘Jasbleidy’ alleged a violation of rights. Given this, the judge relented and moments later the captured woman was released.

According to the defense statement, the woman was in the custody of the National Police before the documents were read to her. rights of the captured. This caused the peremptory term to make it available to expire, which produced, in other terms, an illegal capture.

Even so, it is known that the woman will continue to be linked to the investigation process carried out by the authorities, who would also suspect her participation in the manufacture and sale of narcotics.
