Yucatan.- Marko Cortés, national leader of the National Action Party (PAN), promised that the candidates for the presidential candidacy of the Va por México alliance, militants and “apolitical citizens”, will have an “even floor”.

In Mérida, Yucatán, the national leader of the blue and white team assured that there will be a vote to define who is the best candidate for the Presidency of the Republic in the 2024 elections.

“All apolitical citizens will be able to participate. They will have the doors open so that they can register and with a level floor,” he offered at a press conference.

At an express question, the opposition leader criticized Movimiento Ciudadano, which has repeatedly refused to form part of an opposition alliance.

“He is responsible for having divided the opposition vote,” he accused of the party led by Senator Dante Delgado.

In any case, Cortés said that he now hoped that “now he wants to add and not divide. For now, there is no progress,” he clarified after acknowledging that there have been talks with the leaders of the orange movement.

Last week, the Va por México alliance announced a political agreement for the PAN to follow and lead the election process for the presidential standard-bearer.
