The Paris prosecutor’s office on Saturday opened an investigation targeting actor and comedian Pierre Palmade for “possession of child pornography”, BFMTV learned on Sunday. The 54-year-old actor was indicted Friday for homicide and intentional injuries in the context of a serious road accident.

The investigations were entrusted to the Brigade for the Protection of Minors (BPM). It follows a report made by a man who contacted the police to denounce the facts.

According to our information, this man contacted the police to indicate that he had in his possession videos and audios showing that Pierre Palmade had child pornography images. The prosecution therefore opened an investigation immediately.

The BPM will start by hearing this man who denounced the facts to verify the veracity of his accusations, learned BFMTV.

Palmade under judicial control

Presented Friday to an examining magistrate at the end of his 48 hours of police custody, Pierre Palmade was indicted on Friday in particular for manslaughter and assigned to residence in the hospital with an electronic bracelet.

He is currently at Paul-Brousse hospital in Villejuif, Val-de-Marne, after testing positive for cocaine when he hit the road on Friday February 10, causing an accident with three serious injuries.

Two other people, passengers of Pierre Palmade during the accident, were presented to the investigating judge for “non-assistance to a person in danger” and placed under the status of assisted witnesses.
