Singer Matthieu Chedid, alias M, opens the 47th edition of the Bourges spring music festival on Tuesday evening in the Cher.

“It’s always an honor to go to Bourges, to play in this region where we rarely go”explained the singer, who is celebrating the 103rd date of his tour. “The excitement is still there, which is quite disturbing”he added, referring to concerts in which “there are all ages” : “To see a lot of children in theaters, I tell myself that I must be on the right track”.
Matthieu Chédid also mentions “a before and after a pandemic” : “It allowed us to become aware of this incredible opportunity for freedom of expression, of these celebrations, of these communions, which are incredible gifts”. “There is only love in the room when we do concerts. It’s almost a poetic commitment, it’s not trivial what happens”he finished.
