Education in Mexico faces several challenges, especially after the pandemic. According to data from the SEP, in this school year there are a total of 29 million students in basic and upper secondary education. Although there is a plan to provide good educational services, the resources are insufficient to meet the government’s objectives.
The pandemic has been a factor that has significantly affected student learning. It is estimated that 35% of learning was lost due to the interruption of face-to-face classes, which will have an impact on the lives of minors in the future.
Faced with this situation, Neverías Frody launched a campaign to collect stationery materials such as notebooks, colors, paints and plasticine for children’s shelters in Mexico City to help children meet their educational goals and encourage their creativity, which can increase your ability to adapt to new situations and overcome frustrations.
The campaign will be active until May 5 and is expected to help 740 children with the materials collected. The challenge for the population is to share and promote initiatives like this to ensure that education and creativity continue to be a priority and are not limited by economic or social factors.
