Last week, the proposal was made that the stroke department should share premises with the lung and kidney disease department in order to secure staffing during the night, and the plan was that the proposal would be implemented on Thursday, February 9.
But on Thursday, information came that the planned move has been cancelled. This appears in an internal email that SVT Nyheter Väst has seen.
– This can only get better for the patients. The reason for the proposal was staffing problems and those problems remain and you have to work on that, but I think this is significantly better for the patients and our work environment.
