The Russian army claimed this Saturday the capture of a small town in the northeast of the Ukrainian region of luganskwhere the troops of Moscow they have been attacking for several weeks unlike the southern front where they are defending against a ukrainian counteroffensive.
“In the zone of Kupianskas a result of the competent and professional actions of the military units (…) the people of Novoselivske he was released,” the Russian Defense Ministry said on Telegram.

The Ukrainian army reported on Friday that it was facing Russian attacks in sectors of Kupiansk, Liman and Svatovein the northeast part of the front.
“The number of enemy attacks increased. Violent fighting is taking place,” said Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister, Ganna Maliar.
