Shooting in New Haven leaves person in critical condition

One person is in critical condition after a shooting early Tuesday that left multiple bullet holes in a home in New Haven, Connecticut.

Police said a victim was admitted to Yale New Haven Hospital as officers responded to the area of ​​Henry Street and Orchard Street at 6:10 a.m. to investigate reports of gunshots.

Officers found multiple bullet holes on the first floor of a residence in the 100 block of Henry Street, but no shooting victims.

The victim who arrived at the hospital is in critical but stable condition, police said.

Detectives responded to the scene and are investigating.
