The friendliest coach on the small screen will be back on Apple TV+ on March 15. A first teaser has been unveiled.

Apple TV+ has just revealed the broadcast date for the highly anticipated third season of Ted Lasso. This season will consist of 12 episodes and should, according to the statements of the creators of the series, be the last.

The last season of Ted Lasso, which aired in the summer of 2021, left the Richmond club promoted to the Premier League. But Nate (Nick Mohammed), full of bitterness, leaves the club to train West Ham United, the new club of Rupert Mannion (Anthony Head), the ex-husband of Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham). Roy Kent becomes assistant coach, alongside coach Berad (Brendan Hunt), while Keeley (Juno Temple), has just founded his own public relations agency. Ted (Jason Sudeikis) is still dealing with personal issues and heavy professional pressure.

“Believe”

The first teaser unveiled on Tuesday is full of optimism. While Nate had torn up Ted Lasso’s poster, bearing the inscription “Believe” (believe), each player on the team writes the word “Believe” on a poster and sticks it on his locker in the locker room.

In the space of two seasons, the series created by Jason Sudeikis with Bill Lawrence, the creator of ScrubsJoe Kelly, and Brendan Hunt, wowed audiences and critics alike, and scooped up multiple Emmy Awards.

The series is so popular, that the fictional team of Richmond FC has integrated the FIFA 23 game.
