Shortly before the final, Bachelor David has to sort out again. Two candidates have to go – one is about to drop herself.
The countdown is on: In a few weeks it will be decided which woman the bachelor will give his last rose this year. In episode eight, there were still six singles left on Wednesday who were hoping for one of the coveted dream dates with David. One of them wanted to outdo the competition with an intrigue.
Rebecca narrowly escaped being kicked out on Last Night of the Roses. And that although she had already come closer to David than many other participants. “A kiss means something, but Rebecca is the perfect example that a kiss doesn’t mean security,” said the 32-year-old, but in the end gave the human resources administrator another chance.
Rebecca used this to blacken a disruptive rival. “I have a bad feeling about Chiara because she’s not behind the camera like she is in front of the camera,” she tried to badmouth the bachelor’s favorite in a one-to-one conversation with him. It would torment her because she is a loyal person and only wants the best for him. Chiara had once applied to RTL as a bachelorette, according to Rebecca she only wanted fame.
“What if I’m wrong?”
A no-go for David: The “bomb”, as he called the allegations, hit him hard. “What if I’m wrong?” he suddenly questioned his judgement. But in the end he trusted his gut feeling. Rebecca’s intrigue failed – and sent her straight to the end.
While competitor Chiara got another rose, the 28-year-old had to pack her bags. “It hurts,” Rebecca admitted tearfully, but couldn’t resist one last swipe. “I hope that he will question it, and I hope that he will understand it soon enough,” she alluded to Chiara again. Whether David will confront his favorite with the allegations remains to be seen.
