The traditional celebration of Carnival will be lived in pure celebration in the city and will have the participation of the well-known comparsa Marí Marí, emblem of the carnivals of Gualeguaychú. This was confirmed in the last hours by the local authorities after announcing that between February 20 and 26 a multitude of proposals will be carried out for both adults and children throughout the city.
The Commune reported that, in addition to the central event that will take place at the emblematic Gonnet property, the popular celebration will include festivities in the west, south and southwest areas of the La Plata party.
“The neighbors will be able to live a moment of meeting and enjoyment from the performance of more than a dozen talented murgas and local comparsas,” said the Secretary of Culture and Education, Martiniano Ferrer Picadowhile he announced that the activities “will seek to bring the festive spirit to the different neighborhoods of the City.”
In this frame, The Children’s Republic will be filled with rhythm and color next Monday, February 20 and Tuesday, February 21, with a new corsódromo from where you can see in detail the parade of murgas, accompanied by a spumódromo and food trucks to enjoy the varied gastronomy platense. As anticipated, the days will have a golden brooch in charge of the Marí Marí comparsa, a benchmark of the Entre Ríos carnivals that every year summon visitors from all over the country.
At the west post, located in Melchor Romero, the activities will take place on Friday the 24th. The same will happen on Saturday the 25th at the south post, with central proposals in Villa Elvira; and on Sunday the 26th the festivities will reach the southwest of the city, taking place in the town of Los Hornos. In the different neighborhood initiatives there will be scenarios where the murgas and comparsas registered in the public call made by the Commune, will add color and fun to the day; while the closing –like the event in the Repu– will be with the participation of Marí Marí.
In turn, it was anticipated that the local troupes and murgas that will participate in the different events will be La Chispa de Romero, Gigantes del Ritmo de City Bell, Bella Samba, El Rejunte Del Country, Los Reyes del Sol Naciente, Los Terribles de Malvinas, The Empire of Los Rebeldes, Pacto de Negros, Alto Batuke and Los Pimpollos de los Abuelos, among others.
