Political leaders of the Frente de Todos (FdT) will participate in a national table to discuss the future of the alliance, ahead of the 2023 presidential elections. The meeting will take place this Thursday from 7:00 p.m. at the PJ national headquarters.

Within this framework, a document is circulating that brings together the points of consensus between the different sectors that make up the FdT. This is a draft, which undergoes modifications as the hours leading up to the political table go by, based on the time-trial meetings that take place both at the coordination table of Juan Manuel Olmos, Eduardo “Wado” de Pedro and Sergio Massa; and in group and bilateral conversations of Alberto Fernandez with the governors and official trade unionists.

“Nothing is going to be discussed during the table. All the points are being agreed upon in the previous meetings”he told the portal infobae an official close to the President. The main axes have already been reflected in a first version that, they said, will be negotiated until the last minute. The ideas that were reflected speak of the need for “unity in diversity” and that “participation in the PASO” be encouraged, in line with the President’s intentions.

Until days ago, in Kirchnerism they still resisted that the FdT use that tool to settle candidacies. But in the orbit of Alberto Fernández they assure that the hard wing gave way. “They understood that it was the most reasonable and the best. We have to work so that the Front opens, not that it closes. It makes us more competitive”said a minister.

In this sense, they slipped that it is likely that the need to delay the PASO will be included, so that they are not so separated from the general election, with the double objective of avoiding that a defeat or a close victory in the primaries generates an economic imbalance, as happened in 2019. And to buy time in the fight against inflation led by Sergio Massa. They will not disseminate the document until the end of the meeting, but it will be closed before the talk begins, they assured.

In Kirchnerism they were fighting for the fight against the proscription of Cristina Kirchner and in the seat of the Government they were willing to cede on that point. Consulted on this issue, spokespersons for Pink House they limited themselves to answering that “each one is measuring what is convenient for them to say and surely things will be added and others removed. The point is to form a table where the roadmap is going to be discussed to reach the electoral process as competitive as possible “.

For his part, an official familiar with the dynamics of the PJ meetings, who is aware of the content of several of the dialogues that the President had with the governors in recent days, assured that Alberto Fernández “showed them his most pragmatic side before trying to convince them to go and endorse him.

Basically, in face-to-face talks with the northern caciques, he asked them what they need to win in their districts, he listened to them and then he presented his arguments to support the PASO, despite the fact that in various sectors of the interior they look askance or directly at them. they want out of the equation.

The governors, meanwhile, were reluctant to participate in this Thursday’s meeting and recommended that they be called for a second meeting. But for now there were no concrete results from those talks. Two governors assured infobae that in the end they decided not to go; but in Balcarce 50 they said, even with names and surnames, who will be present.

So far, they could attend Gerardo Zamoraof Santiago del Estero; Gildo Insfranof Formosa; Ricardo Quintelaof The Rioja; Marian Arcioni, from chubut -who responds to Massa- and Axel Kicilloffrom the province of Buenos Aires and Cristina Kirchner’s bishop.

For now, in the Casa Rosada they assure that the President’s intention to extend the meeting to the maximum was imposed, with delegates from both the three main forces – the PJ, led by Alberto Fernández, who will bring some of his ministers, including the newly appointed chief of staff, Augustine Rossiand the holders of the Chancellery, santiago cafiero; and Social Development, Victoria Toulouse Peace-; the Renewal Front of Sergio Massa -which has not yet confirmed if it will be there, although in Balcarce 50 they take it for granted-; and Kirchnerism, led by the Vice President, who will send Wado de Pedro as her voice.

Everything indicates that members of the CGT would also be present, Carlos Acuna, Pablo Moyano and Hector Daer; of the CTA -in principle, Hugo Yasky-; and of the social movements, although the names of the leaders of the organizations that would attend were reserved. Last week, emilio persicofrom Movimiento Evita, which is also a member of the Government as an official, had publicly asked to be part of the game.
