“From Monday to Monday we have lost the right to silence to rest,” Yanina, a neighbor of that enclave, told this newspaper who shared videos taken in the early hours of the morning from the window of her house in order to make the volume heard. and the vibration of the music that, according to what is said, comes from a large, recently inaugurated venue.
In the area there are also repeated complaints against another nightclub located on the block of 58 between 5 and 6.
“In addition to supporting and denouncing the cultural center of 58 between 5 and 6, now the Municipality has also allowed the operation of this cursed place that makes noise on weekdays as well. It is an ordeal to live in the neighborhood”, lamented the woman.

“The authorities are notified of this. They hide behind an ordinance dating from 1991 to do little or nothing. The reality is that we do not rest”. The neighbor said that she acted as a spokesperson for the unrest in the area. She explained that the music continues at full volume beyond four in the morning. In the apartments of the adjoining buildings there is no possible refuge from the noise that is described, she assured herself.
With the reopening of nightlife venues after the period of quarantine and isolation, complaints returned in the City about being hit by cars and motorcycles, night gatherings on the street, and the music from bars and nightclubs that operate at night.
