The Court of First Instance n56 of Madrid has completely rejected the precautionary measures requested by Daniel Sancho’s lawyer, accused of the murder and dismemberment of the Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta in Thailand, against Mediaset Spain. The Spaniard’s legal team had requested a prohibition on the Fuencarral communication group broadcasting images of the private life of Silvia Bronchalo’s son prior to the macabre crime.
The Justice has rejected this request considering that does not meet the legal requirements once the demands imposed by freedom of information and expression have been weighed. The young chef also wanted to prevent the different Mediaset programs from disseminating images of him obtained in the Koh Samui penitentiary center where he has spent his days since last August awaiting the trial in which he could be sentenced to the death penalty. .
