There was great uncertainty in the Norwegian League of Legends environment after the autumn playoffs. Was this really the end of the wonderful visa?

Fortunately, however, the environment received a gift package just before Christmas – League of Legends is back on the agenda, and the spring season is already underway today.

If you have not caught up with which teams are participating at the top level, or which players they have brought in, there is no reason to worry. Here you get the overview.

The first main match of the spring is played between Riddle and KAOS, and you can follow it live on Twitch from 19:00, Tuesday 31 January »

Replacements for the autumn’s finalists

The autumn season ended in spectacular fashion after a nail-biting final between Riddle and Domino. Since then, both finalists have undergone a total renovation, and are starting with two brand new players’ stables.

Can spring’s Domino players manage to repeat autumn’s success?

Sindre Stien/Good Game

The most attentive League of Legends fans may have noticed that “Shaolin” (former Riddle player) and “Banderas” (former Domino player) changed clubs before this year’s season, but unfortunately we don’t get to see the two profiles play against their former clubs in the Telialiga this autumn, as they only play NLC.

Domino: A New Top Lane King?

it
Antonio “SADAZ” Scalese (Substitute)

The loss of Top Lane player “Banderas” may feel sour for Domino, but if the rumors are true, Telialiga debutant Hui Min “YuJian King” Wu is probably not a bad replacement. With two very skilled Mid Lane players on the bench, one should almost expect that Danish Jeppe “Ag0ny” Nikolaj Sorth will also deliver at a high level from the start.

Riddle: How many comebacks?

This is how we have become accustomed to seeing “Nomi” in recent seasons. Is it time for him to lift the trophy again?

The Riddle stable is undoubtedly filled to the brim with well-known and beloved names as far as the Telialiga is concerned, and as many as three players are making an ever-so-small comeback this season. With such a stable, Riddle should be able to establish himself as one of the season’s favorites early on, and the team can boast, among other things, an ADC player who has spent an autumn with one of Europe’s top teams and a Jungle player who won the autumn season as a Support player .

A good mix of veterans and new talent

This spring’s line-ups are characterized by three things – a bunch of debutants, a handful of veterans and, beyond that, many substitutes for several of the teams. In other words, the spring season can offer an incredible number of interesting matches and team compositions.

Rich Gang: Year of the Wolf

Can “yupwulf” and the Rich Gang make it to the spring finals?

Forget the year of the rabbit – the committee behind the Chinese animal signs has obviously not heard of Andreas “yupwulf” Brustad, because with this spring’s Rich Gang stable, it could quickly become the year of the wolf. The team has kept three members from the autumn season, and reinforced the stable with Swedish “Chaos” and Norwegian-Swedish “Lönnar”. The Swedish-Norwegian union in 2023 here, then.

CHAOS: More aces up the sleeve

Magnus “lil ambivert” Freding (Substitute)

KAOS undoubtedly has more aces up its sleeve this season. With four substitutes, it can be difficult for the opponents to know what to expect, and to make matters worse, the team has chosen to set up “Sharp” and “Koolberg” in alternating positions. Even though it’s been a few years, several of the team’s players have managed to create magic together before, and suddenly it’s happening again.

Magic can happen when veterans like this find form. Pictured here from his time at Celestial Gaming.

Lazy In Life: Kruse is back

Many were surprised when ADC player Mathias “Tidebringer” Kruse was not to be found in the autumn season overview. Now, however, he is back, and it will be exciting to see what Kruse achieves together with Lazy In Life this season. Also worth mentioning is the core of two from last season, as well as a reunion for Support player Mikael “Syhm” Richvoldsen and Jungle player Cristoph “Deletus” Steib.

see
Robin “Teroba” Baduuja (ADC)

Sander “sandkav” Kavli (Support)

Nightmare is the only team at the top level to have retained all players heading into the spring season. The team made it to sixth place in the autumn, but crashed out of the play-offs against KAOS. By betting on existing cohesion and synergy, they can quickly become a joker beyond the season, who can hit hard from the start.

nDurance: Some sneaky tricks

The autumn edition of nDurance may have only ended up with two wins, but at the same time the story of the team’s married couple won the hearts of the public. Before this season, they have replaced four out of five players, and only Jungle player Markus “Unique” Bruun returns in the nDurance suit. With him, among other things, is ADC player Marcus Oliver “Certified Random” Elvelund, who may have picked up a trick or two from his time in KAOS.

Several debutants among the spring’s newcomers

Both The Turks and Tackle secured direct promotion to the top level this autumn. 5Stars had to qualify against Vanir, and despite the loss they can be found in the first division in the spring season. This means that we will see three new teams and a bunch of debutants over the course of the season.

5Star: Debutantes

dk
Benjamin “nroP” Rudi Hansen (ADC)
no
Christian Olav “Rias Gremory” Staff (Support)
no
Mathias “TerrorLarry” Narvestad (Substitute)

Of the spring’s newcomers, it is probably 5Star who will start with the most unknown names. The team has kept large parts of the stable from the second division, so that some interaction is present from the start should be expected.

The Turks: Good mix

no
Lars Sigmund “dark santa” Marvik (Top)
dk
Mathias “steeamy” Frijs-Djurhuus (Jungle)
no
Noah “Polka” Adolfsen (Mid)
no
Christian “Plander” Boetius (ADC)
no
Håvar “Forest” Wolden Forest (Support)

The autumn winners of the second division have made some changes to their line-up since the autumn season. For example, the team has picked up Support player Håvar “Skog” Wolden Skog from newly promoted Tackle. The Turks boast a good mix of veterans and debutants, and perhaps they can learn a lot from each other over the course of the season.

Tackle: The season’s dark horse

no
Thomas “Ripped” Hau (Top)
pl
Artur “G0dtur” Jaszczak (Jungle)
no
Magnus “Valiant” Østmo (Mid)
no
Casper “Duzzskull” Wold (ADC)
fi
Topi “Topi” Lantto (Support)
no
Erik “Vidnes” Vidnes (Substitute)

Tackle may be a new name at the top level, but most people probably know several of the team’s players. The top level of Tackle seems to be sky high, and the team could quickly establish themselves at the top of the table if the individual skills are allowed to shine through on Summoner’s Rift.
